Originally recorded in 97, while Ure and I were living in the Mumbai squalor know as Lexington street, Houston. We had a neighbor named Paul who somehow was talked into coming over and engaging in late night, purely improvised electro-acoustic jam sessions over the course of several months. By summer, Ure and I packed our bags, left Houston and wound up in California. In late 98, while living across the hall from Ure in the hotel Auburn, I worked from dusk to dawn, in an 8x10 room, editing and processing my favorite bits from those sessions. This collection is the fruit of my labor. At times rich, at times muted, and consistently lo-tech, some of the tracks still sound fresh, some, not so. That's "time" for you.
